Questions

The things people ask before their first appointment. Can't see yours? Just ask.

Booking

It's my first tattoo. What should I know?

Let me know when you enquire and I'll take things at your pace, talking you through everything before we start. Eat a proper meal beforehand, wear something that gives easy access to the placement, and go easy on the drinks the night before.

How do I book?

Send me an enquiry through my booking page with your idea, the placement, a rough size and any references you like. We'll have a free consultation to chat it through, then a deposit secures your date.

Are deposits refundable?

Deposits aren't refundable, but I'm more than happy to move yours to a new appointment as long as you let me know at least 72 hours before your booking. With less than 72 hours' notice the deposit is lost, as that's usually too late for me to fill the appointment.

How much will it cost?

I charge by time: £100 an hour, £300 for a half day (3 hours) or £500 for a full day (6 to 7 hours). Custom and flash ladyheads are £400, depending on size and placement, as I'd love to do more of them.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! You're welcome to bring one friend along for moral support. As the studio is a small private space, I just ask that you keep it to one guest so we can keep the atmosphere calm and relaxed.

Do I have to pay for a consultation?

Nope! Consultations are completely free. They last around 15 minutes and are held at 9:30. It's a chance for us to chat through your ideas, answer any questions, and make sure we're both on the same page before booking your tattoo.

How do I pay my deposit?

Deposits vary depending on the tattoo, and I'll confirm yours when I confirm your booking. Cash is always preferred, but I know life is busy and not everyone is local, so I also accept PayPal. I'll message the details over at the same time.

Will I see my design before the appointment?

I don't send out artwork. Your design is revealed on the day of your appointment! I love seeing the genuine first reaction, and it gives us the chance to go through everything together in person. If any small changes are needed, I'm happy to make them before we get started. It also helps protect my artwork and the time that goes into it.

Aftercare

How do I look after it?

I'll recommend the right wrap and aftercare for your tattoo on the day, and the full routine is on the aftercare page. The short version: keep it clean, don't pick it, and keep it out of the sun, the bath and the sea while it heals.

Do you do touch-ups?

I don't offer free touch-ups, but I'm happy to book one in. Send a touch-up enquiry through my booking page with a photo of the tattoo.

Do you do cover-ups and reworks?

Yes! As with any tattoo, we'll start with a free consultation so I can see the existing tattoo and we can talk through what's possible.

On the day

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

Yes! My main studio is on the first floor, but I do have access to a wheelchair-accessible space. Just let me know before your appointment so I can get everything set up and ready for when you arrive.

How old do I have to be, and what ID do I need?

You need to be 18 or over, as that's the law, and I'll need to see photo ID, especially if it's your first time with me. A passport, driving licence or PASS card is perfect.

How long will it take?

It depends on the size and detail. A small piece might take an hour, while bigger pieces can be a half day, a full day or a few sessions. We'll work it out together at your consultation.

What if I need to rearrange?

Just let me know at least 72 hours before your appointment and I'll happily move your deposit to a new date. With less notice than that the deposit is lost, as it's usually too late for me to fill the slot.

Can I bring food and drinks?

Absolutely, and I'd encourage it, especially for a longer session. Keeping your energy up makes for a much more comfortable tattoo. If you've had a hectic morning and didn't get a chance to grab anything, don't worry, I'll have a few drinks and snacks on hand ☕

Where is the studio, and where can I park?

I'm upstairs above Noble Rose in Worthing town centre, and they'll point you up to the perch. The nearest car park is the High Street Multi-Storey (BN11 1LY), about 5 minutes' walk, and the station is 10 to 15 minutes away. There's more on the visit page.
